MacArthur’s new “Grab and Go” breakfast system is currently underway. Serving breakfast on the go allows students to simply scan their badges and pick up a free breakfast while heading to class. Breakfasts at the Grab and Go carts are located at the front and library entrances.

“I like the convenience of the new breakfasts,” senior Brandon Gibson said. “You can just take them and go wherever you need to go. Beyond that, they’re free, which is very nice.”

The bagged breakfasts consist of fruit, juice, and a main entree like a granola bar or muffin. This meal, while simple, fulfills all the qualities of a hearty breakfast.

“It’s very healthy,” junior Ariel Masters said. “I think the meal they give us is a perfect serving size.”

This breakfast plan is meant to help students who might not have time to get breakfast from the cafeteria. This new, quicker system allows a student who might have tutoring or other obligations before school to receive a morning meal.
