5 Tips to Keep Your New Year’s Resolution

5 Tips to Keep Your New Year's Resolution

MacArthur High School student Tiblets Berhe, Staff Writer

1. Your New Year’s resolution should fit with your own values. Make it something you really want to accomplish, not about what other people are doing.

2. Limit your resolution to a number you can handle. It’s probably best to make two or three resolutions that you intend to keep.

3. Make a plan rather than committing to one daunting goal.

4. Tell your friends and family about your goals.

5. Reward yourself for ‘‘good behavior’’ with things that help you relax.

Mac students share how they plan to keep their New Year’s Resolutions.
